Avasant Foundation Expands African Jobs Impact: Avasant Foundation Receives $460,000 Rockefeller Grant for Digital Jobs Africa
Los Angeles, CA, December 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Avasant Foundation, a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization headquartered in Los Angeles, California, today announced it has received a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation for $460,000 towards implementing jobs-focused Impact Sourcing initiatives in Africa.
The grant comes under the Rockefeller Foundation’s Digital Jobs Africa initiative, launched in May 2013 and whose goal is to impact 1 million lives in six African countries through job creation and skills development for youth who would otherwise have limited access to employment.
