Mark E. Minyard is Awarded the Prestigious Samuel W. Barnes Award by the Orange County Bar Foundation
Newport Beach, CA, December 29, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Mark E. Minyard, partner at Minyard Morris, an Orange County family law firm, was awarded the Samuel W. Barnes Award at the annual meeting of the Orange County Bar Foundation on December 3, 2014.
The Samuel W. Barnes Award presented by the Orange County Bar Foundation’s is bestowed annually to a special recipient in recognition for unyielding loyalty and support of the youth programs of the OCBF.
The Samuel W. Barnes Award is dedicated in loving memory to a longtime Orange County Bar Foundation supporter, past president, and friend, Robert Sam Barnes.
This year’s award recipient joins a distinguished group of past recipients including: Robert Samuel Barnes, the inaugural recipient, Donald L. Morrow in 1997, Judith M. Ryan in 1998, Ann Andres in 1999, John C. Herklotz in 2002, Jane Martin in 2004, Ygal and Sheila Sonenshine in 2006, Michael D. Purcell in 2007, William S. O’Hare in 2008, Michael P. Maguire in 2009, Cindy Stokke in 2010, James M. Skorheim in 2011, the Santa Ana Police Department in 2012 and John B. Hurlbut in 2013.
“We are proud of Mark and his consistent contributions to charitable causes,” said Michael A. Morris, partner.

Mark has diligently recruited new donors and friends to the Foundation and was instrumental in the development and implementation of the associate board in 2012.”
