Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson Named to St. Johns County Education Foundation Board

St. Augustine, FL, January 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sherry Davidson, President of Davidson Realty, Inc., has joined the Board of Directors of the St. Johns County Education Foundation (SJCEF). As the direct support organization for the St. Johns County School District, the SJCEF offers programs like Take Stock in Children and FLY (Five Learning Years).

Said Davidson, "I am passionate about education and SJCEF offers some really great, impactful programs. The board members have a real passion to make St. Johns County schools even better. I'm looking forward to helping the foundation provide support and resources for all of our schools."

Drawing on her extensive accounting and tax background, Davidson plans to serve on the SJCEF Finance Committee.

Davidson Realty's non-profit corporate giving program Davidson Cares was launched in 2011, which provides support through grants to local St. Johns County schools. Those schools currently include Mill Creek Elementary School, Wards Creek Elementary School, Palencia Elementary School, Pacetti Bay Middle School and Nease High School.

Thanks to help from SJCEF, Davidson Cares participates in Florida's School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program, which allows the Davidson Cares schools to receive twice as much funds for tools, supplies and programs.
