The South’s First Social Enterprise Digital Agency Has Now Opened
Dorset, United Kingdom, January 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The festive break is considered to be the time for giving and a time for fresh starts. Dorset entrepreneur Chris Ryu has taken this literally, by founding one of the only Social Enterprise Digital Agencies in the UK. The agency will put profits back into the community through a range of projects, including children’s coding clubs and job-seeker training courses.
The social enterprise will operate from premises in both Poole and Sturminster Newton, raising funds by building websites, mobile applications and providing digital marketing services. They will utilise under-used space at the premises of supportive businesses to provide their unique range of training courses to candidates from 7-70 years old.
Chris Ryu, Founder of "Honest" stated, “I’m very excited to be able to give back to the community through this new venture. I came from a deprived background, but I was very fortunate that Poole Audi gave me a great opportunity 7 years ago, they helped me to grow and realise my potential – now it’s time for me to give that opportunity to others.”
Chris continued, “We plan on running children’s coding clubs to inspire the next generation and free digital courses for job-seekers to help the current one. There will be drop-in clinics helping local businesses to do digital better and some really unique career opportunities for long-term jobseekers.”
The Dorset-based agency is currently listed on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter.com, raising funds to start their first community projects while the company establishes itself in the local area.
