Check, Please! TV Series Presents Nicksons Eatery of Downtown LaGrange
La Grange, IL, January 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- An episode of the television series, Check, Please! will be featuring Nicksons Eatery.
The format of the show is simple: three people sit down with host, Catherine De Orio to discuss three local eating establishments, one favorite chosen by each guest. Before the program is taped, each person chooses a favorite restaurant, and everyone in the group is required to visit each person's selection. Afterwards, everyone describes their eating experiences.
Nicksons Eatery’s episode will air on January 9th at 8 pm on Chicago’s WTTW, Channel 11 series Check, Please!

Nicksons Eatery, located in downtown La Grange, is the creation of partners Nick Baca, his wife Carson Baca, and his brother Rich Baca. With a rich sense of American pride, the team is pleased to make their mark on the La Grange food culture, delivering compelling regional American fare with big bold flavors.
This new restaurant concept is strongly influenced by the rich character of downtown LaGrange. Literally translated, "La Grange" is French for “the barn” and every aspect of the concept--the food, the inviting atmosphere, and the charming space--are meant to reflect the warmth and abundance of rural culture: tin ceilings, rustic hardwood floors, raw wood accents, and family style seating give a timeless feeling and a familiarity that aptly sets the mood for the meal.
Always mindful of the seasons, Nicksons robust and flavorful dishes are inspired by regional specialties across the US.
