Author James Terzian emigrated from the Ukraine to the United States when he was five years old. The author penned his novel, “The Lord of Shadows Rises,” while supporting himself working in a school providing cleaning and maintenance. Terzian, who enjoys reading manga and writing fan fiction, attributes his inspiration to write to his loving and supportive mother and family. In addition to writing, the author’s hobbies also include coin collecting and playing video games.
