Vertex Releases Online Customer Reviews, Comments System
Vertex announced today the release of Revrrb, a software service that allows Web developers and bloggers to add reviews, ratings, and comments to any Web page or site.
Austin, TX, January 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Vertex Software of Austin, Texas, released the first version of its customer review and commenting service, Revrrb (http://www.revrrb.net), for public use today. Revrrb lets users add product/service reviews and threaded comments to any Web page or site, including sites created with a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress or Vertex’s own Site Press® (http://www.sitepress.net).
By pasting embed code provided by the Revrrb system into a page or template, bloggers, Web developers, and other content creators can let readers post comments and product reviews on their sites. All comments, replies, ratings, and reviews are stored in a cloud database, from which they can be managed with the administrative tools offered by the Revrrb Dashboard.
Revrrb users can add review and comment functionality to one or more Web sites or blogs. The Revrrb Dashboard provides tools to manage multiple sites, manage site settings, view comments and reviews, and create analytics reports.
For comments, Revrrb lets registered users moderate comments by approving them (if approval is required in the Settings), flagging them as spam, deleting them, and creating reports about them. Users can also search comments for specific text and sort comments based on a variety of criteria.
Revrrb users can moderate reviews and provide official responses to reviews (public comments are not allowed), as well as filter and search reviews, approve reviews, mark reviews as spam, and create reports on ratings.
“With Revrrb, anyone can provide the capability for adding Amazon-style reviews and product ratings to a blog or Web site,” according to David Macdonald, President of Vertex. “And anyone can add commenting functionality to any page. The system is also easy to incorporate into templates for people using content management and blogging systems, and the Dashboard makes it easy for bloggers and content specialists to manage comments and reviews.”
Macdonald expects the Revrrb software service to be continuously evolving over the next several months. “We have already received several feature requests from our CMS customers, so we’ll be constantly improving the system to make it simple for anyone to add reviews and comments to their sites. We’re especially focused on enhancing marketing and metrics efforts, and SEO.”
To use Revrrb to add ratings, reviews, and comments functionality to their Web sites, interested users are encouraged to visit http://www.revrrb.net to create an account.
