Scholarships Available for Greater Dayton Sorority Women

Dayton, OH, January 09, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Dayton Alumnae Panhellenic Association (DAPA) announces the availability of its 2015 scholarship application. Sorority members – undergraduate or graduate students – with permanent home addresses in the Ohio counties of Montgomery, Greene, Warren, Miami, Preble, Clark, Shelby, and Darke are encouraged to apply. The scholarship application deadline is Feb. 6, 2015. The scholarship application is available online: http://daytonalumnaepanhellenic.webs.com.

Scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate or graduate students who are members of collegiate or alumnae chapters of any sorority or women’s fraternity affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC).

Applicants will be notified of the DAPA scholarship committee’s decision in late March 2015. Recipients will be recognized publicly at DAPA’s annual silent auction and fashion show fundraiser, which is scheduled for April 25, 2015, at The Hope Hotel & Conference Center. Over the past decade, DAPA has provided scholarships totaling more than $88,000. Typically, the group awards eight to ten scholarships annually with an approximate value of $600 per award.
