Bonn Steichen & Partners Announces the Promotion of 8 Lawyers
The leading independent Luxembourg law firm, Bonn Steichen & Partners shows its ambitions through the appointment of former counsel Cécile Jager as new Partner and the promotion of four Counsels and three Senior Associates.
Luxembourg, Luxembourg, January 12, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Called to the Luxembourg Bar in 2003, Cécile Jager has been promoted to Partner at BSP. As a local and international tax expert, Cécile’s advice is regularly required on tax issues emanating from structured financings, project financings and the acquisition and disposition of assets and companies. She also deals with group restructuring matters such as those recently undertaken on behalf of a pharmaceutical worldwide key player and major international industrial groups.
Four female lawyers have been appointed as Counsels.
An Irish solicitor, Nuala Doyle is specialised in banking and financial services, with particular expertise in securitisation and in bank lending and structured finance, advising international banks and financial institutions in secured and unsecured lending deals.
Nathalie Houllé is specialised in corporate and private equity matters. Her practice covers cross-border corporate transactions where she represents clients on mergers and acquisitions, takeover bids, private equity offerings, joint ventures and divestitures.
Laure-Hélène Gaicio is an Avocat à la Cour in BSP’s Dispute Resolution department where she focuses on arbitration, general commercial and litigation. Her expertise enables her to deal with complex disputes involving contracts and to advise on a wide range of domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
Specialised in corporate matters, Renata Jokubauskaite has built sound expertise with multi-jurisdictional corporate restructurings, national and cross borders acquisitions and joint-ventures, recapitalisations and liquidations of companies. She further advises on capital markets matters.
John Colleran, specialised in capital markets, tax lawyer Elodie Girault and investment funds lawyer Oriana Magnano, have been appointed Senior Associates.
These eight appointments have been commended by Alain Steichen, co-founder of the firm: “The professionalism and personal strengths of our newly promoted lawyers are undeniable. No doubt they will keep on developing their potential while fulfilling their new functions.” He adds: “These promotions build on the recent recruitments of labour law expert Catherine Graff, of corporate lawyer Sonia Bellamine and of Virginie Apard, specialised in dispute resolution. They all reflect the dynamism of Bonn Steichen & Partners and are fully part of our long-term strategy.”
In its short three-year history, Bonn Steichen & Partners is now one of the most important law firms in Luxembourg. As such, it has recently been recognised with the gold award of the “Best Luxembourg Law Firm” from a distinguished panel of legal counsels during the 14th edition of the Trophées du Droit organised in Paris by Leaders League.
