Lovesick Jeweler Wants to Help You Tie the Knot
Atlanta, GA, January 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta based eco-friendly jewelry company, Ahimsa Designs, will launch their new alternative wedding line, the Wild at Heart Collection, at the upcoming Lovesick Expo on January 25, 2015 at Ambient Plus Studio in Atlanta Ga.
The new wedding collection features several styles of sterling silver wedding bands that can be personalized for each couple with handstamping and ethically sourced gems. Also included in the new wedding line are dramatically intricate hand-woven sterling silver necklaces, organic and symbolic bridesmaids necklaces as well as coordinating bracelets and earrings.
Ahimsa Designs has been an Atlanta favorite for over a decade now. The company focuses on creating beautiful designs while maintaining a commitment to ethically sourcing raw materials and spreading messages of love and connectedness. About the desire to add a wedding line in addition to the existing collections that celebrate yoga, veganism and ahimsa (doing no harm), owner and designer Kristen Anderson says, “I love creating wedding jewelry because I know these are pieces that are given with love and will be worn every single day for years to come. I feel honored when a couple invites me into the process of creating such sacred symbols.” Kristen’s designs appeal to couples who want to make their rings unique and personal and all of her designs are LGBT friendly.
Presented by Offbeat Bride (http://OffBeatBride.Com), the Lovesick Expo is an alternative wedding event that tours the country connecting unique vendors with those looking to find alternatives to the mainstream wedding options. Guy friendly and same sex friendly, this expo promises to be entertaining as well as informative with live music, giveaways and various performances. (You must be 21 to enter.)
Kristen has been designing jewelry for 12 years. Three years ago she changed everything about her business so that her jewelry could be an extension of the beliefs she values. After learning more about the devastating effects on people and the planet created by mining processes she almost closed shop, but decided to give it one last effort using as many recycled and ethically sourced materials as she could possibly find. Kristen says that the attention to this detail as well as the messages on her jewelry have made a difference. “People reach out to me because these things matter to them too. Often it is something they never even considered as consumers, so I love that we can all learn together and create change with our buying power.”
