Thursby’s PKard for Good Secures Key Mobile Workflows with Smart Card Two-Factor Authentication
Arlington, TX, January 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Thursby Software Systems, Inc. has released PKard® for Good v2.0, a secure version of its PKard Pro application developed on the Good Dynamics® Secure Mobility Platform.
PKard for Good integrates with the Good Dynamics Platform so that it can leverage an additional level of security found in smart card and derived credential based two-factor authentication. The new iOS version, available immediately in the Apple App Store and the Good Dynamics Marketplace, provides secure S/MIME email where users can sign, encrypt and decrypt emails using their CAC, PIV, or derived credentials. PKard for Good also works as a secure browser that can access two-factor enabled websites such as U.S. Government AKO and OWA sites.
PKard for Good is a Good-secured app that allows businesses to leverage their existing Good infrastructure investments with two-factor authentication to scale their enterprise mobile app deployment initiatives, confident about on-device app security and the ability to control the data being presented to users.
PKard for Good supports standard Good Dynamics Platform security and control policies. This enables IT administrators to use the existing management console for the Good Dynamics Platform to manage policies such as the Data Leakage Policy (DLP), which prevent users from copying potentially sensitive data out of the app. Because PKard for Good is built on the Good Dynamics Platform, it can be seamlessly used with other Good-secured apps. For example, PKard for Good can authenticate against another Good-secured app, that has been designed by IT as the authentication delegates, to provide single sign-on capabilities that simplify the entire mobile workflow.
