Renfro Foods continues introduction of new and improved products to the Mrs. Renfro’s brand
New Chipotle and Ghost Pepper BBQ Sauces debut at the Winter Fancy Food Show
Fort Worth, TX, January 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- If you love Mrs. Renfro’s BBQ Sauce there are four new reasons to love it more - it is now gluten-free, high fructose corn syrup has been removed and two “hot” new flavors have been added - Mrs. Renfro’s Chipotle BBQ Sauce and Mrs. Renfro’s Ghost Pepper BBQ Sauce.
“We decided to expand our BBQ Sauce category by offering new flavor options like we did with our nacho cheese sauce,” explains Doug Renfro, president of Renfro Foods, who debuted the three products during the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, Jan. 11-13. “We’ve had great success adding chipotle and ghost pepper to our nacho cheese sauce so expanding our BBQ sauce line was the logical product extension for us.”
With the heat factor in foods still trending high in the marketplace, Renfro Foods chose chipotle for medium heat and ghost pepper for hot. Mrs. Renfro’s Ghost Pepper BBQ Sauce will have the same trademark fiery lid as its ghost pepper salsa and ghost pepper nacho cheese companions.
All three products, packaged in 16-ounce jars, are expected to appear on store shelves by spring and will retail for about $3.69, depending on the market.
