Pyramid Healthcare Solutions’ CEO to Participate at NACDS Regional Chain Conference

Alan G Santos, Chief Executive Officer of Pyramid Healthcare Solutions, Inc. will deliver a presentation at an interactive idea exchange breakout session entitled DEA Compliance – A Former Law Enforcement and Regulator’s Perspective on Current Trends on the afternoon of Monday, February 2, 2015.
Mr. Santos joined the Pyramid Healthcare Solutions team after more than 26 years with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), most recently as the agencies Associate Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Office of Diversion Control. As a former member of the US Governments Senior Executive Service, Alan was one of the lead controlled substance regulators for the nation and was part of the senior management team at DEA responsible for overseeing and coordinating major pharmaceutical, precursor chemical, clandestine laboratory, and synthetic drug investigations worldwide; the drafting and promulgating of all U.S. controlled substance regulations; the establishing of drug production quotas; and served as liaison to the pharmaceutical industry, international governments, state governments, and other federal as well as state and local agencies. Having started with Pyramid as the VP for Pharmaceutical Compliance & Related Services at PHS, Mr. Santos has been responsible for managing the company’s newly related pharmaceutical compliance and related service solutions offerings for pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Mr. Santos was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Pyramid in September 2014.
