Grenville Engineering Celebrates 30 Year Milestone
Despite a challenging economic climate, Grenville Engineering achieved the £4million target set for 2014 and plans to achieve an annual turnover of £5million over the next 2 years. The firm also continues to expand its production staff with a permanent night shift that has been operational following a number of successful contracts.
Stoke-On-Trent, United Kingdom, January 21, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Grenville Engineering (Stoke-on-Trent) Ltd, the leading complete fabrication solution provider celebrates its 30 year anniversary.
Established in December 1984 founder Mark Barratt set out with a vision to continue the legacy on from his father. Grenville Engineering started its journey with five shop floor staff and a manual punch and strippit machine.
The company successfully partnered with a leading manufacturer within the Earthmoving market in 1985 and continued to grow from strength to strength. In 1997 the company gained ISO9001 accreditation and continues to adhere to its strict quality procedures.
Spanning three decades the organisation has weathered two recessions and maintained a growing workforce. The company employs around 50 staff and continues to bridge the skills gap with a successful apprenticeship programme.
Recognising the need to evolve with the digital age, the company initiated a full scale rebrand and launch of a new website last year.
Marketing Manager, Atia Bukhari comments, "It has been an exciting time for Grenville with the rebrand and the launch of a fresher looking website. We have received positive feedback from customers and visitors to the site which is very encouraging."
The company exhibited for the first time in their history at the MACH show, one of the UK’s largest events for Manufacturing Technologies. As a result of the successful show the company raised its profile among leading industry manufacturers and won a substantial contract estimated around half a million.
