College Lecturer to Take Part in Bath Half Marathon

Oswestrye, United Kingdom, January 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sarah Probert, the Business Curriculum Leader at Walford and North Shropshire College (WNSC) will be taking part in the Bath Half Marathon on 1st March, she is raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation who assisted Sarah and her son, who was gravely ill, 6 years ago.

Sarah said, "Over the new year I decided to take on more challenges and help others. My reason for supporting the Make a Wish Foundation is simple, I am blessed by two lovely lively happy boys, but when my 7 year old Alex was just 1 he became very seriously ill and we nearly lost him. Roll on 6 years and I am so lucky as he is a fit, amazing, wonderful little boy full of beans."

Sarah added "Alex and his 2 year old brother Scott are my inspiration for this run as I am more than aware of the importance of magic in childhood. I am so fortunate; all I want to do is to be able to help others. No matter the difficulties a child might face, they are still a child. Every child's world should be full of fun, magic and surprises. Helping make children's wishes come true is an honour please help me to reach my goal."
