· Monday, February 2, 2015 – WiGRID 2015 is a pre-conference session being held the day prior to the 25th Annual DistribuTECH Conference, one of the leading conferences in the utility industry, at the San Diego Convention Center. Participation is free to all conference attendees. The event will kickoff with a WiMAX Forum Smart Energy Working Group (SEWG) meeting to discuss the ongoing FCC 3.65 GHz proceeding, WiGRID testing and certification, and continuation of group business. Speakers have been invited to share utility-focused technology expertise, spectrum analysis and availability, and case studies to highlight the latest strategies involved with operating an efficient and affordable smart grid network. · Tuesday & Wednesday, March 10-11, 2015 – WiMAX Aviation 2015 – Madrid, will be held at the World ATM Congress (WATMC) conference in Madrid, Spain. The two-day program is free to all WATMC attendees, focused specifically on the deployment of broadband networks based on the technology standard known as AeroMACS. Held at the IFEMA – Feria de Madrid Convention Centre, the program will provide an opportunity for members of the global aviation community to share lessons regarding the advancement of best-in-class aviation broadband networks.
