Author and Producer/Director Frederick Fichman has just announced a new crowdfunding campaign for a new video documentary. This one-hour documentary will be available when completed on You Tube and Vimeo and will describe the Lewis and Clark Expedition, 1804-1806.
Prescott Valley, AZ, January 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Lewis and Clark Expedition, 1804-1806 will be highlighted in a new one-hour video documentary from Author and Producer/Director Frederick Fichman. Just Announced is a new crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe.com to help with the financing and production costs associated with this documentary. The video will be produced in 1080p HD and will be shot entirely on location along the route of expedition from St. Louis, Missouri, through Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and ending up in Seaside, Oregon.
Frederick Fichman is an author with 29 books now available on Amazon Kindle. He has a deep background in television production with a degree in Television-Film Production from the University of Kansas and an over 30-year career in television broadcasting, mainly with ABC-TV in Hollywood.
The Lewis and Clark Expedition documentary will focus on the character of the men of the Corps of Discovery, their interaction and impact on Native Americans, and a visual panorama of what the land the Corps explored looks like today. Civilization has certainly grown up since the land was explored 210 years ago but many of the sites that will be shot on video look the same as it did through the eyes of Captains Lewis and Clark.
This video documentary when completed will be available for viewing on YouTube and Vimeo. It will also be available for free distribution to educational institutions and libraries. The running time will be just less than one-hour.
Crowdfunding will allow contributors to be part of the creation of this documentary. Detailed information and an introductory 5 minute video on this crowdfunding campaign can be found at: www.gofundme.com/lewisandclark.
