New Startup Job Site (Exclusively for Foundations) Launches One of a Kind Forum for Foundation Staff
By offering a dedicated place for foundation staff to gather, connect, and post jobs, we see great social value in helping Foundations better connect nationally. This is not a social media startup, but instead a direct place foundations can ask, and have questions answered from their peers about foundation programs and grantmaking. Where else can growing foundation professionals turn to for support?
Portland, OR, January 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- New Startup Job Site (Exclusively for Foundations) Launches One of a Kind Forum for Foundation Staff to Connect & Learn.
Foundation List a new Portland Oregon startup focusing on foundation jobs launched this week with a compelling new mission: to better connect, educate, and support the national foundation community.
Recognizing the foundation sector was missing a comprehensive resource for connecting, nonprofit expert and founder of Foundation List, Isaac Schild, is ecstatic about the community building potential of the new startup service.
“By offering a dedicated place for foundation staff to gather, connect, and post jobs, we see great social value in helping Foundations better connect nationally. This is not a social media startup, but instead a direct place foundations can ask, and have questions answered from their peers about foundation programs and grantmaking. Where else can growing foundation professionals turn to for support?”
Isaac Schild, Founder of Foundation List
It is called the Foundation Forum, which is a free to use public site. At the Forum foundation staff, advocates, donors and job seekers can network, share information, discuss industry and foundation trends, pose questions, promote events, and share news.
“It is amazing there are so few resources for Foundation to post and ask questions. So much of the sector is siloed. The current options for promoting foundation openings to date have been focused on the nonprofit sector as a whole, and not just foundations. We are solely focused on services created for the 85,000 plus foundations found in the US nationally. There is simply no other service widely used that is tailored to just the needs of foundations.”
Foundation List’s services offer access to foundation focused job seekers, job seeking tips, foundation news, and free access to the Foundation Forum.
