Green Alternative Systems (GAS) has announced that fleet conversion to natural gas can cut costs for businesses, approximately one dollar for every gallon, fueling vehicles for their transportation-based businesses.
Chino, CA, January 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- A recent example of fleet conversion to natural gas cutting costs for businesses is at the Richmond International Airport. The airport invested in fleet conversions to natural gas for their buses and shuttles. Their fleet of 155 buses and vans will be fueled by CNG (compressed natural gas) which is also safer, more reliable and environmentally friendly. The airport estimates they'll save approximately $1 per gallon compared to diesel fuel. With the heavy run time of the vehicles, that totals between $25,000 and $50,000 per year.
