Moye White Announces New Partner
Denver law firm Moye White LLP announced that Keely Downs has been appointed partner.
Denver, CO, January 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Denver law firm, Moye White llp, announced the appointment of new partner Keely Downs.
Downs’ practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate transactions and general corporate matters. She represents lenders and borrowers with the acquisition and financing of multifamily properties. Downs has represented both lenders and borrowers with the HUD financing of multifamily properties, including affordable housing and senior housing projects.
Downs also represents landlords with commercial lease negotiations. Her experience with both litigation and transactions allows her to draw from a broad base of expertise to assist her clients.
Downs has a passion for animals and environmental causes and has done pro bono work for the Animal Legal Defense Fund, where she wrote an amicus curiae brief on behalf of the ALDF for a pending rule with the TSA regarding the safety of transporting animals on commercial flights.
Downs served as a judicial intern for the Honorable A. Bruce Campbell at the United States Bankruptcy Court, and was an articles editor for the University of Denver Water Law Review.
