Bayer MaterialScience Appoints Business Development Manager for Makrolon® Sheet Products in North America
Sheffield, MA, February 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Bayer MaterialScience LLC announces the appointment of Kenneth Schwartz to business development manager for Makrolon® polycarbonate sheet products. In this role he will lead the marketing and business development activities for Makrolon® polycarbonate sheet products in the North American region.
Since joining Bayer in 2004 as a technology manager, Schwartz has taken on roles of increasing responsibility. With this promotion, he will continue his current role as resin marketing manager for construction in North America, while assuming additional responsibilities for business development for the company’s sheet business.
“Ken brings significant experience and knowledge of the sheet business to this position and will immediately be able to contribute,” said James Boehm, managing director of the Bayer MaterialScience Makrolon® polycarbonate sheet business. “His dual role will allow him to leverage synergies between the polycarbonate resin and polycarbonate sheet business in the construction markets.”
Schwartz, a Philadelphia native, will be based in Pennsylvania. Schwartz holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University.
