Avesta Heritage Cove Wins Conventional Community of the Year
Local community wins prestigious award at the Bay Area Apartment Association’s Gold Medallion Awards.
Tampa, FL, February 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Avesta Communities announced today that Avesta Heritage Cove won the Conventional Community of the Year Award at the Bay Area Apartment Association’s Gold Medallion Awards. The ceremony was held on January 23, 2015. Avesta Heritage Cove received this award for the “Under 150 Units” category. Scoring was based on overall resident service and the success of its repositioning plan; Avesta Heritage Cove was voted the best in the Tampa Bay area.

The community has undergone extensive capital improvements since its acquisition in 2013. Renovations include tropical landscaping, complete gutter replacement and repair, resurfaced countertops, and new flooring.
Avesta was represented by nominees in almost every category at the BAA Awards. Erik Norling was nominated as Maintenance Supervisor of the Year, Ali Rogala as Assistant Manager of the Year, Regina Carter as Manager of the Year, and Grace Semple as Corporate Employee of the Year. Additionally, Avesta Rivergate was nominated as Affordable Community of the Year, and Avesta Madeira Grove vied for the title of Major Rehab Community of the Year.
