Nashville Church of Scientology Holds First Writers Night of 2015
As a Celebrity Centre, the Nashville Church of Scientology works to uplift artists and musicians. Scientology Founder, L. Ron Hubbard, once wrote, “A culture is only as great as its dreams, and its dreams are dreamed by artists.”
Nashville, TN, February 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- January 19th marked the first writers’ night of 2015 hosted by the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre Nashville. The Church of Scientology works to help musicians and artists, and hosts this monthly writers’ night to give songwriters a safe place to share their music. The evening includes a featured performer then open mic for over an hour.
The evening opened with original works and personal stories. Banjoist-extraordinaire Tom Smith played four tunes before a writers’ round with Rachel Hutcheson and Pat Jackson. The night closed with a dynamic electronic indie pop duo.
The Church of Scientology makes it a point to promote the arts and encourage artists to do the best they can in life. “We host events regularly to help artists by providing tools to help them in their lives and careers. Artists are the backbone of society because they lift up the rest of society,” says Pastor of the Church, Rev. Brian Fesler.
Artists are welcome to attend writers’ nights each month. To find out exact dates and times, contact Julie Brinker at 615-687-4600. The Church of Scientology is located in the heart of Music City at 1130 8th Avenue South. For more information about the Church, visit scientology-ccnashville.org.
