Fight Network Brings Hard Knocks Fighting Championship Live to Broadcast TV

Calgary, Canada, January 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Fight Network brings Hard Knocks Fighting Championship Live to Broadcast TV

Hard Knocks Fighting Championship will broadcast live after signing a deal to bring HK 41 to Fight Network’s MMA audiences.

For the first time, Hard Knocks Fighting Championship will be broadcasting live to cable and satellite providers on the Fight Network.

HKFC’s HK 41 fight event will broadcast live from Calgary’s Century Casino on the Fight Network Friday, January 30 at 11 PM EST / 9 PM MST / 8 PM PST.

HK 41 will be the biggest night of fights so far for Hard Knocks Fighting Championship, with a stacked card of well-matched, exciting fighters and a professional light heavyweight title match main event.

The Fight Network broadcast premiere will feature two hours of live fight action from HK 41. To order Fight Network or to check availability see http://tv.fightnetwork.com. The full fight card for HK 41 is available exclusively on pay-per-view from HardKnocksFighting.com.

Light Heavyweight Title Fight
The headlining title bout features one of Canada’s top light heavyweight mixed martial artists, Misha Cirkunov (@Misha_Cirkunov), against Ultimate Fighting Championship and Bellator Fighting Championship veteran Rodney “ShoNuff The Master” Wallace (@Shonuffmma).

Cirkunov, 7-2, is originally from Latvia. He is only 28 years old and has only been fighting in the cage professionally since 2010. He trains out of Xtreme Couture in Toronto and his wins are a well rounded mixture of knockouts and submissions.

“I don’t care who is in front of me, I am here to represent Canada,” Cirkunov said. “I can’t wait to get into the cage, I have heard nothing but good things about this promotion, they are helping out fighters and making things happen.”

Wallace, 22-9-1, is a record-breaking college running back from the United States and has racked up 32 professional MMA matches since his career began in 2008. He has battled against light heavyweights in both the UFC and Bellator cages. Wallace is 33 years old and trains with Team R.O.C. out of Charlotte, NC.

Wallace is a brawler and likes to battle it out for all three, or in this case five, rounds. His extensive professional MMA record gives him a massive experience advantage over Cirkunov, however Cirkunov hasn’t lost a fight since 2012 and Wallace has lost half of his last six bouts. Cirkunov is also younger and has a huge reach advantage, standing a whopping 6-foot-3 while Wallace stands at 5-foot-9.

“The pro and amateur fight card for HK 41 is the start of a fantastic 2015 season,” Ari Taub, CEO and Founder of Hard Knocks Fighting Championship, said. “The live network premiere we are doing with Fight Network is another highlight in an already exciting year.”
