Sony Creative Hosts Remix Contest for Haunted Echo’s "ShapeTracer"

New York, NY, February 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Halo Askew Entertainment is excited to announce that Haunted Echo has teamed up with the makers of Acid Music Studio, a popular music creation software, to present a remix contest for the hard hitting anthem single from Haunted Echo’s upcoming album, “ShapeTracer.”

Starting immediately and lasting for two months, music enthusiasts and producers can grab original stems and a handful of loops from the acclaimed Sony Sound Series to create their own version of the single. The winning remix contestant receives Sony Vegas Pro 13, Sony SpectraLayers Pro 3, 5 Sony Standard Collection Loop libraries, and merchandise from Haunted Echo, including the personal Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface used for field recording samples and instruments; a collection of original samples and loops curated specifically for this contest; winning remix will be included in the digital release of the ShapeTracer EP.

Haunted Echo is the electro-industrial project from Kris “Halo” Pierce, who has appeared on America’s Got Talent, programmed for Jennifer Lopez, held the audio helm for Whoopi Goldberg and Cyndi Lauper, and was on the team nominated for a Grammy for Common’s “The Corner.” Not one to sit still, he also is the label administrator and producer at the punk house record label, No FiLTr LTD, with legendary DJ and producer, Freddy Bastone. Usually a “behind-the-scenes” kind of guy, Pierce’s Haunted Echo project puts him front and center in the limelight with his dose of dark and catchy electronic dance music.
