Fannie Hillman Posts a Company Record 552 Home Sales in 2014
Most annual transactions since red-hot 2005 real estate market
Orlando, FL, February 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Fannie Hillman + Associates, Winter Park’s largest independent real estate agency and one of the city’s longest running residential real estate firms, posted a company record 552 real estate transactions in 2014 for a sales volume of $216.7 million.
The record number of transactions was 19 better than the company posted in the red-hot 2005 real estate market, and marked the fourth consecutive year the company’s transactions increased.
Last year’s transactions were up 28 percent over 2013 and 42.7 percent over 2012, while sales volume was up 19.7 percent over 2013 and 56.7% over 2012. The company’s average sale last year was $392,502.
“As the market continues to correct itself and become more healthy and balanced, the steady climb in transactions and sales volume is indicative of the gradual but sustained recovery in Orange and Seminole counties. We’ve emerged from the worst of what’s been a very challenging economy for the past eight years and should continue to see gradual improvement in 2015,” said Scott Hillman, president of the 34-year-old firm which has been voted the “Best Residential Real Estate Office” in Central Florida eight times since 2005.
Recognized as a leader in the sale of luxury lakefront residences, primarily in Winter Park and Maitland, Fannie Hillman + Associates finished last year with 127 fourth quarter transactions for more than $48 million, highlighted by the $2.7 million sale of a residence on Winter Park’s Lake Osceola.
Six of Fannie Hillman’s 50 sales agents posted sales over $10 million in 2014, and another nine recorded sales of more than $4.6 million. Nancy Bagby was the top producer with 41 transactions for $24.6+ million, followed by Maria Van Warner, 36 sales for $15.3+ million; Wendy Williams, 26 sales for $14.8+ million; Megan Cross, 24 transactions for $12.1+ million; Catherine D’Amico, 32 sales for $11.4+ million; and MaryStuart Day, 18 transactions for $10.6+ million.
Other top producers were Jerry Oller, 16 sales for $7.9+ million; Lisa Fleming, 13 transactions for $7.3+ million; Ann Lee, 13 sales for $7.2+ million; Sandra Cash Jones, 14 transactions for $6.9+ million; Kelly Maloney, 22 sales for $6.7+ million; Shirley Jones, 23 transactions for $5.6+ million; Cindy Kuykendall, 14 transactions for $5+ million; Cathy Richey, four sales for $4.8+ million, and Trish Sanders 18 transactions for $4.6+ million.
