Bridges to Community Announces 2015 Recipient of the Outstanding Vision and Commitment to Action Award

President of Cushman & Wakefield Investment Sales, Paul J. Massey Jr. to receive international organization’s highest honor states Executive Director, John Hannan.

New York, NY, February 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Bridges to Community Executive Director John Hannan announced today that Paul J. Massey Jr, President, New York Investment Sales of Cushman & Wakefield will receive their 2015 Outstanding Vision and Commitment to Action Award. The award is given to individuals who have a made a significant impact in helping people in the developing world.

On April 22 of 2015 tri-state area philanthropists and business leaders will join Bridges to Community as the organization honors the achievements of Paul J. Massey Jr. at its 2015 Leadership Dinner. This very special event will be held at the Tribeca 360 in New York City to celebrate the accomplishments of this great man with proceeds funding.

Bridge’s vital community development programs in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.

“Paul Massey exhibits the core value that is central to the American character and that is we build a better community, and a better world, when each of us does our part,” said Bridges to Community Executive Director, John Hannan.

Massey, a long time Westchester resident, first volunteered with Bridges in Nicaragua in 2008 and has made numerous trips to the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere since that time. As CEO of Massey Knakal Realty Services, which was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield on January 1, 2015, Paul oversaw the direction and growth of the New York metropolitan area’s premier full service brokerage firm. With more than $4 billion in annual sales.

Massey Knakal also ranked as one of the nation's largest privately owned real estate brokerage firms. Massey Knakal has been a generous corporate sponsor of Bridges to Community. Currently, Paul serves as President, New York Investment Sales of Cushman & Wakefield. Paul is married to Gretchen and they have one son, Paul III, and two daughters, Sarah and Greta.

Past Awardees include institutional and individual leaders such as Anthony D’Orso, Charles Ramsey, The Bedford Presbyterian Church, Temple Shaaray Tefila, Jillian Martin and Rick Bauman; each of whom has made significant contributions to furthering service learning, community development and cross cultural understanding.
