Established in 1998 by women for women, the Fund for Women & Girls is a permanent Field of Interest fund of the Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, helping Fairfield County girls surmount obstacles no one should face alone, acquire confidence, and learn to become leaders. It also helps low- and middle-income women supporting children achieve economic security. It has become the largest woman’s fund in New England, awarding over $3 million in grants and reaching over 3,000 women and girls.
