Amy Barone’s new chapbook Kamikaze Dance was published byFinishing Line Press. Her poetry has appeared in CityLitRag, First Literary Review-East, Gradiva, Impolite Conversation (UK), Maintenant, Philadelphia Poets, and The Rutherford Red Wheelbarrow, among other publications. She spent five years as Italian correspondent for Women's Wear Daily and Advertising Age. Her first book, Views from the Driveway, was published by Foothills Publishing. A board member of the Italian American Writers Association, she co-organizes and promotes their monthly readings in New York City. She belongs to PEN America Center and the Brevitas online poetry community that celebrates the short poem.
NYQ Books published Maria Lisella's first collection, Thieves in the Family in 2014. Her work in chapbooks --- Amore on Hope Street (Finishing Line Press) and Two Naked Feet (Poets Wear Prada) has been twice nominated for a Pushcart-Poetry Prize. She won Honorable Mention from the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award and was a finalist for Queens Poet Laureate. Her work appears in Feile Festa, Gradiva, LIPS, Paterson Literary Review, Skidrow Penthouse, Voices in Italian Americana, and online on DanMurano.com and First Literary Review East. She co-curates the Italian American Writers Association 2nd Saturday readings; and is a charter member of the online poetry circle, brevitas now in its 12th year.
