Horror Has Been Reawakened

Los Angeles, CA, February 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Lifetime's new movie "Babysitter's Black Book" star, Steffani Brass, reunites with her former "See Me" co-star, "My Three Sons" star, Tina Cole, in this new horror film being filmed in and around the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas.

Altonaga Productions' film "Reawakened" is about a young woman (Sophia) who accidentally awakens the spirit of a malevolent witch that died centuries ago and her best friend Michele Chadwick has to find a way to save her soul from eternal damnation.

Brass plays the lead role of Michele Chadwick and Cole will play Laura Chadwick. Other members of the lead cast are Brooke Mackenzie ("Two and a Half Men") who plays Sophia and Chantelle Albers ("The 6th Friend") as Detective Nikki Henderson. Rounding out the supporting roles are Charlie Ian ("Whiplash"), Dabier Snell (Disney's Movie Surfers), Masha Mendietta, Ann Tomberlin, Getty Olm, Tom Ohmer ("The Dark Knight Rises") Toni Taubman, Malcolm Matthews, Carrie Aquino, Ricardo Navas, Milton Snell, Stasha Surdyke, John Michael Herndon ("Criminal Minds") and Rich Redmond, the high-energy drummer behind the multi-platinum sensation Jason Aldean.

"Reawakened" is being directed by Executive Producer Jose Altonaga who also co-wrote the screenplay along with his partner Remy Mackenzie.

Other professionals attached are Producer Debbie Vaughn, UPM Stream Gardner and Cinematographer Gary Bacon.

Principal photography began December 27, 2014 and is set to continue through late May, 2015.

The film anticipates a release date of early 2016.
