Vidyo Appoints Eran Westman as CEO
Hackensack, NJ, March 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Vidyo, Inc., ended its fiscal 2014 year on January 31, 2015 and announced significant growth driven by strong market demand and the appointment of Eran Westman, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Vidyo, succeeding co-founder Ofer Shapiro, effective immediately. Westman previously held the role of Chief Revenue Officer. Shapiro assumes the role of Vice Chairman and will continue to help guide the company he has led since founding it in 2005. Vidyo also announced that Guy Resheff has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer to lead the technology and product teams.

Eran Westman joined Vidyo in February of 2014 and led sales and support efforts worldwide. He has more than 20 years of business leadership experience and a demonstrated track record of guiding organizations to the next level of growth. Eran served as Executive Vice President of Global Business, President of Asia Pacific and Vice President of EMEA at Ceragon Networks, the largest independent supplier of wireless backhaul systems. He joined Ceragon as one of the first 15 employees when the company was pre-revenue and built a global organization of over 800 people across Latin America, Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. Eran received a Bachelor of Law degree from Bar Ilan University.
Guy Resheff was co-founder, President and CTO of wireless chip provider Provigent, which was acquired by Broadcom for $340M. Most recently, Guy was an Executive in Residence at Tallwood Venture Capital where he sourced and led the investment at Wigig leader Wilocity, which was acquired by Qualcomm in 2014. In addition, Guy was an executive board observer at Quintic Microelectronics, which was acquired by NXP in 2014, and was previously an observer at Silicon Clocks (acquired by Silicon Labs) and Ozmo Devices (acquired by Atmel). Guy received a BA in Mathematics/ Physics from the Hebrew University.
