Cambridge, United Kingdom, February 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Cordic is offering the Taxi Butler device as part of their integrated data despatch solution cPAQ. When someone books a taxi using Taxi Butler, the booking is sent directly to a licenced vehicle via Cordic’s National Gateway. The Taxi Butler device is being placed by the taxi companies within a variety of venues including restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and doctors surgeries.
Cordic customer Garstang Cars, based in Lancashire, has been using the Taxi Butler in their local supermarket where previously they would receive bookings via the telephone. Bob Horman MD at Garstang Cars comments: “Since installing the Taxi Butler in Booths we've increased our work from the supermarket and taken work away from our main competitor!”
Horman continues: "The Taxi Butler device is loved by Booths' staff, our drivers and customers. It's made the whole booking process more efficient and makes up 6% of our total bookings. We're planning on deploying more Taxi Butler units in the very near future!"
Cordic Marketing Manager Danielle Kinsella adds: “Taxi and Private Hire companies are looking to technology in order to remain competitive in their local areas. The low cost Taxi Butler solution means that they can increase their booking revenue from a venue and see a fast return on their investment. Garstang Cars have proven how effective the Taxi Butler device is for them and have plans for future expansion using the device as part of their strategy.”
Taxi Butler comments: “We love working with Cordic and we see that their customers benefit greatly from using the Taxi Butler. Thousands of bookings are processed each day through the devices and we know that all Cordic customers can also reap the rewards Taxi Butler brings.”
