WBB Team Welcomes Sharie Bourbeau, Former U.S. Navy and DHS Senior Executive

Sharie’s background includes executive roles at the Department of the Navy and Department of Homeland Security. During her tenure with the Government, she mastered a wide range of strategic and tactical skill sets associated with business operations, information technology, major systems acquisition procurements, and onsite operational execution for complex, diverse organizations.

Known as a world-class change agent, Sharie has had the opportunity to influence a large number of government personnel through leading vast initiatives. Some of her most notable achievements involve leading U.S. Customs and Border Protection's 60,000 employees through a transformation to a strategic framework for long-term resource management. As the senior executive Sharie also planned and executed several strategic initiatives affecting a world-wide workforce of 53,000 responsible for efficiently managing an annual budget in excess of $30B for the Navy’s largest engineering and acquisition command. She served as the champion of Life-Work Balance initiatives designed to attract and retain a vital workforce and introducing workforce and workplace mobility programs across the Navy culminating in her organization being recognized as a Top 50 employer of choice.
