Level 99: Denim Gets Dressed to the Nines
Breaking the Denim Trend with Wide Leg, High Waisted and Trouser Cut
Los Angeles, CA, November 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Level 99, a leader in premium denim, sets to grow its denim empire with the unveiling of a full lifestyle collection. Expanding off of their success last season with the sought after "Tsunami" jean, Level 99's Spring/Summer 2008 line presents several new denim styles constructed with the same high fashion quality specially tailored for a more versatile “to the streets” sensibility.
A result of the successful initial launch-by measure of sales and buyer interest- Level 99 will be launching their new collection to top retailers all over the US and begin distribution in Europe and Japan. Level 99 has increased its efforts and brainpower by assembling a growing team of creative designers and brand merchandisers. Caro Marketing, a fashion marketing agency specializing in growing brands, has also been hired to help promote and create awareness towards Level 99's unique approach to casual luxury.
Level 99 is the only women’s premium denim that exists within the premium fashion category at a $110 to $118 retail price point. For spring, Level 99 introduces denim fabrics blended with rayon, tencel, and even linen. The new season will also include maternity styles sold exclusively at Mimi Maternity to add to the growing body-conscious designs.
Instead of using brazen marketing tactics, often exercised by other LA based denim lines, Level 99 focuses on customer driven viral marketing.
“Level 99 made the original wide-leg pant that sold so very well in our store. Everywhere I go in my Level 99 jeans, people stop me on the street and ask me where to buy them.” says Wendy Freedman, buyer for Los Angeles fashion boutique Polkadots and Moonbeams.
Level 99 is not dictated by trends. In 2005, the designer brand introduced the wide leg pant and they have a number of A-list celebrity fans requesting custom pairs. “We feel the quality starts with the raw materials, and all the key elements perfect the garment you see,” says Level 99’s lead fashion designer Amie Gaines. “Each design is developed in-house and processed by hand. We manufacture each garment with only the highest quality standards because if we wouldn’t wear it, we expect you wouldn’t, either. We are our toughest customers.” The toughest of many.
