KUBE Strengthens Its Management Team as Temporary Accommodation Market Grows

Kent, United Kingdom, February 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- KUBE, the specialist provider of high quality temporary accommodation has appointed Gordon MacDonald, previously Managing Director of Elliott Hire, as COO, and Colin Robinson as Commercial Director. These senior appointments will add significant weight to KUBE.

Gordon MacDonald joins KUBE as the Chief Operating Officer, to oversee daily operations. His last role was as MD of Elliott Hire where he was responsible for the acquisition, integration and consolidation of competing businesses to form the largest accommodation business in the UK. He was also responsible for supplying temporary accommodation for the London Olympic Games in 2012.

Colin Robinson joins as Commercial Director to drive new commercial activities and business growth. He has previously been a director within a global financial markets trading company and headed up the sales function within a £50M turnover IT services company.

KUBE, based in Kent, provides high quality temporary accommodation serving many sectors. The new expanded team will enable the company to provide a ‘one stop’ modular solution for accommodation from the initial concept to onsite operation.

Temporary accommodation is becoming increasingly important and can be designed as a bespoke solution for many sectors, such as workforce villages for infrastructure and civil engineering projects, oil and gas, mining and quarrying projects. Social housing or accommodation for students, healthcare, carehomes, farming, hospitality, prisons and many more sectors can be provided.

The team is led by Michael Stockdale, who was previously the Operations Director at Snoozebox. Michael said: “We have appointed key staff who are able to support us going forward – now we have a quality product and the appropriate talent to serve our customers and support our growth plans.”

Also on the management team is Richard Thain, a founder member of Snoozebox, the mobile event hotel operator. He was part of the management team which took the brand from launch to AIM listing in under twelve months. He has over 30 years’ experience in design and marketing. Harvey Downer is the Finance Director, with over 20 years’ experience as a Finance Director.
