Chatsworth, CA, February 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Eread Technologies, Inc.™, parent company of Ereading.com®, eComicBooks.com™, LaunchWords.com™, MyEreading.com™, and six additional reader-centric domain properties, announced today the launch of its new consumer information website located at Ereading.com®.

When the official Ereading.com® ecommerce website launches in Quarter 4 of 2015, it will be the world’s largest independent online bookstore, offering over 22 million new and used print books, ebooks, comics, audio books, and reading-related merchandise items and free, dedicated e-reading apps for iOS and Android mobile devices.

Eread Technologies, Inc.™ differs significantly from its competitors, most notably because the company is built around a social-responsibility business model. Through the company’s Read and Change the World™ Direct Donation and Select Grants Program, a portion of all future sales will be contributed to a variety of literacy and education programs, including schools, across the United States and around the world.

In years one through five, the company will focus on launching Ereading.com, eComicBooks.com™, LaunchWords.com™, and MyEreading.com™. eComicBooks.com™ will be a leading retail website specializing in new and used print comic books, digital comics, and comic book-related merchandise, while LaunchWords.com™ will offer authors and publishers a wide range of publishing and distribution services. MyEreading.com™ will provide book and comics fans with a new, fully-featured social network for readers.

“We are excited and proud to be launching our consumer information website at Ereading.com®,” said Richard Dean Starr, author and CEO of Eread Technologies. “We have spent several years developing a unique business model that we think will greatly differentiate us from the larger competitors in the marketplace.”

Starr believes that two keys to the company’s long-term success will be a strong focus on customer care and a large, diverse inventory. “We’ve understood for some time that most ebook-only stores are not sustainable, at least in the current market,” he said. “Physical books continue to dominate at the retail level, so we knew that Ereading.com® would have to offer a vast selection of new and used books along with ebooks, comics, and other merchandise, in order to be attractive to consumers.”
