SeamlessDocs Releases New “Payment Feature” for Forms and Documents
New York, NY, February 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On Friday, the SeamlessDocs Development Team announced the “Payment Add-On” for any form or document. In addition to the webforms’ drag and drop payment feature, users can add on a ‘request for payment’ to any converted PDF. Governments like Aurora, IL are looking to take full advantage of this new feature.
Aurora has already converted over 150 existing PDFs into SeamlessDocs and they are looking to reach 300 forms by the end of the year. Before submitting a SeamlessDocs form, residents are now required to submit payment, thus eliminating incomplete forms while giving residents an opportunity to pay online instead of having to provide payment in person. The new payment feature is going to further Aurora’s initiative to make their forms interactive as well as save the city time, energy, and money.
When asked why this feature is important to governments, Marc Ende, Director of Business Development, replied with, “It’s a convenience factor for both a resident and a government employee. Residents can fill out and pay forms when and where they want, while employees don’t have to deal with the hassle of payments. Time spent doing these activities costs everyone money. The increased availability of forms and the added functionality provided by a SeamlessDoc also increases the opportunity for additional revenue within the city.”
SeamlessDocs now allows for governments to integrate with the following services: Authorize.Net, Clerksworks, Xpress Bill Pay, Braintree, & Stripe. Governments that are already accepting online payments can also integrate with their existing payment provider for an additional fee.
All SeamlessDocs’ forms with payment add-ons are mobile & tablet friendly, as well as PCI compliant. Additionally, the forms are accessed over a bank-level secure channel, 256 Advanced Encryption Standard.
