Longman & Van Grack Attorney Adam Van Grack Selected as Chair of U.S. Olympic Center of Excellence
Bethesda, MD, February 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Adam Van Grack, one of Longman & Van Grack's Sports and Recreation Law attorneys, has been named Chair of the Potomac Whitewater Racing Center (PWRC), the largest U.S. Olympic Center of Excellence for canoe and kayak racing.
Funded with private donations as nonprofit entities, U.S. Olympic Centers of Excellence are selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee as national training and education centers providing world-class facilities. The centers also serve as an invaluable resource for athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, parents, volunteers and other stakeholders nationwide.
Adam Van Grack has served on the Board of PWRC for almost a decade. PWRC focuses on the daily racing, coaching and functional needs of athletes in national and international competition. Van Grack said, "I'm proud to be able to assist this fantastic organization while helping world-class athletes, and those seeking to become world-class athletes, work hard to achieve their goals."
PWRC currently houses the reigning Whitewater Canoe World Champion Fabien Lefevre, two-time Olympian Casey Eichfeld, Olympian Rick Powell, and four different U.S. Olympic coaches. Longman & Van Grack is proud to have an association with this outstanding nonprofit Olympic sports organization.
