Firm Expands Into Chemical Market and Increases Sales and Apprentice Teams
A West Midlands firm is going from strength to strength, with the addition of a new company to its group brand and an increase in staff members.
Walsall, United Kingdom, March 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- West Midlands based firm Lion Containers Ltd is going from strength to strength, with the addition of a new company to its group brand and an increase in staff members. The container sales and conversion firm have introduced Lion Containers (Chemical Stores) Ltd to their expanding brand, which already includes Lion Containers Ltd, Lion Containers (Fabrications) Ltd, Lion Containers (Offshore) Ltd and Lion Containers (Biomass) Ltd.
The container firm has seen a rise in enquiries from companies who require a safe and practical form of storage for their chemicals, flammables and substances hazardous to health. Laura Hucker, Group Manager said of the expansion, “We already have substantial experience in chemical store conversions, and due to the fact that our niche biomass and offshore conversion companies are flourishing, we decided to launch a dedicated chemical store company. Companies who store hazardous materials have strict guidelines to follow, and standard storage containers are not suitable. Our chemical stores can be built to fulfil the Environmental Agency and HSE (Health and Safety Executive) guidelines, which are in place to ensure the safety of humans, animals and the environment.”
Chemical stores are required for the storage of agricultural chemicals such as pesticides and fertiliser, flammables such as batteries, fuel, oils and paints, and substances hazardous to health such as fumes, dusts, vapours and mists. Chemical stores are also known as COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Stores and Bunded Containers; and Lion Containers Ltd can provide either ‘off the shelf’ or bespoke units.
The success of the ever‐expanding firm has also resulted in an increase in sales staff, as well as a growing team of apprentices.
