Fort Myers Attorney Shannon Puopolo Elected to Guardian Ad Litem Board

Fort Myers, FL, March 03, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. is pleased to announce that Attorney Shannon Puopolo has been elected Vice President of The Guardian Ad Litem Foundation - 20th Judicial Circuit (formerly known as Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida) Board of Directors. The Foundation supports the Guardian ad Litem Program for Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. Guardian ad Litem volunteers are the eyes, ears and voices for children who are abused, neglected and abandoned. Through grants, individual donations, sponsorships and events, the Foundation has raised over $1.8 million since 2002 to address unfunded and unmet needs of Southwest Florida’s most vulnerable children.

Puopolo concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and, more specifically, handles real estate litigation, including title insurance claims, creditors’ rights in bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings, and residential and commercial eviction and ejectment proceedings. She also handles association law matters, lien foreclosures, reforeclosures, lien collection matters and partnership disputes.

Puopolo has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers® magazine as a "Rising Star" in the field of business litigation for three consecutive years (2012-2014). She is the President Emeritus of the Lee County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division and is a member of the Calusa Inn of Court and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
