David Hackett is a partner with Baker & McKenzie in Chicago. He advises clients on global environmental, sustainability, CSR and compliance issues, including related to reporting and disclosure matters. Mr. Hackett currently serves on a number of boards, including the National Parks Conservation Association, the Chicago Nature Museum, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Cook County Sustainability Advisory Council. He is a past Chair of the International Environmental Law Committee of the ABA Environment Section. At Baker, Mr. Hackett has served as North American Managing Partner and on the Firm’s Global Management Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Baker, Mr. Hackett was a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice Environmental Enforcement Section where he received a Special Achievement Award. He is a graduate of Haverford College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
