Love Culture and "The DUFF" Announce Free Giveaway Sweepstakes
Love Culture Stores and CBS Films Collaborate on Teen Comedy Movie Promotion and Sweepstakes
Los Angeles, CA, March 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Love Culture stores and CBS Films’ “The DUFF” announce an in-store giveaway sweepstakes, ending soon on March 9. Love Culture, a shopping destination for edgy, fashion–forward ladies, is featured in the teen comedy about a young woman taking charge of her own identity. The film opened in theaters on February 20 with a generous turnout by theater-goers.
Bianca (Mae Whitman) is a content high school senior whose world is shattered when she learns the student body refers to her as ‘The DUFF’ (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier, more popular friends. With her universe turned upside down, she enlists Wesley (Robbie Amell), a slick but charming jock, to help set her apart from the pack and erase her label forever. In doing so, she reminds everyone that no matter what people look or act like, we are all someone’s DUFF…and that’s totally fine.
Viewers can see Love Culture’s signature store featured prominently in a scene of the film where heroine Bianca goes shopping with Wesley.
“The DUFF film portrays a strong message of female empowerment and self-confidence that embodies how we want our shoppers to feel in our clothes,” says Bryan Kang, CEO of Love Culture. “We’re a fashion-forward company for woman of all ages, shapes and styles. Like Bianca in the film, we want every woman to feel beautiful in our clothing.”
In collaboration with “The DUFF” film, Love Culture stores are giving entrants a chance to win a list of prizes:
