Tennant, Shatner, Somerhalder, Schneider Q&As Highlight Programming at Wizard World Raleigh

Raleigh, NC, March 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Q&A sessions with David Tennant (“Doctor Who,” “Broadchurch”), Ian Somerhalder (“The Vampire Diaries”), William Shatner (“Star Trek”), John Schneider (“Smallville,” “Dukes of Hazzard”), Tyler Hoechlin (“Teen Wolf”) and Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings Trilogy), a concert by videogame tribute band “Critical Hit,” screening of Wolf Cop, costume contests, comics creator panels and more are among the programming highlights scheduled at the inaugural Wizard World Comic Con Raleigh, Friday through Sunday, March 13-15 at the Raleigh Convention Center. Most programming is included as part of the standard event admission.

Interactive Q&As with Shatner (Saturday, 4 p.m.), Somerhalder (Saturday, 11:30 a.m.), Schneider (Saturday, 12:30 p.m.), Hoechlin (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.), Astin (Saturday, 1:30 p.m.), Liam McIntyre (Saturday, 2:30 p.m.), Cassandra (“Elvira”) Peterson (Sunday, 2 p.m.)

David Tennant V.I.P ticket holders will enjoy a rare Q&A session with the tenth Doctor himself (Saturday 3 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.) - Tennant VIP attendees only

Get “Married With...” David Faustino (Saturday, 4:30 p.m.), go “out for a bite” with “Buffy’s” James Marsters (Sunday, 1 p.m.), and more

World Of Warcraft Composer Jason Hayes Presents: Behind The Music With “Critical Hit” (Saturday, 2 p.m.). Then at 6 p.m., the band performs original arrangements and electrifying live concerts of music from the most celebrated video games of all time

Costume contests for adults (Saturday, 7 p.m.) and kids (Sunday, 3:30 p.m.), plus cosplay-themed sessions with Wizard World’s Charlie Rocket, veteran cosplayers and others

Learn “how to write comics” with Tom DeFalco (“Spider-Man”), Peter David (“Hulk”), Ann Nocenti (“Daredevil”), Barbara Slate (“Archie”), and Danny Fingeroth (“Darkhawk”) (Friday, 5 p.m.)

Marvel comics session with Fingeroth (“Darkhawk”) and David (“Hulk”) (Sunday, 11:30 a.m.)

Spotlight on “Deadpool” creator Rob Liefeld (Saturday, 1:30 p.m.)

Screenings of Wolf Cop (Saturday, 6:30 p.m.) and “iZombie” premiere (Saturday, 3 p.m.)

Green Ranger Half Hour of Power with Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), a karate class for all ages (Sunday, 1:30 p.m.)

Master the “Genetics of Wizarding” with Dr. Eric Spana, biology professor at Duke University (Sunday, 1:30 p.m.)

Meet-and-greet with Frank (Saturday, 11 a.m.) (Paid event)
