Celebrate Overlooking the Greens at Mulligans St. Pat's Bash
Tarpon Springs, FL, March 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- For an upscale, family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day, discover Mulligans Irish Pub, a hidden gem at Wentworth Golf Club in Northeast Pinellas. Green beer flows along with Irish Food and Live Music all day Tuesday, March 17th. Last year, over 1,000 enjoyed Guinness, Corned Beef & Cabbage, dancing, kid’s activities, and other festivities as Wentworth opened its gates for all to celebrate.
The uncrowded Wentworth Manor overlooking the greens is the setting for the 4th Annual Mulligans St. Pat's Bash. Mulligans offers a picturesque, elegant venue with an old world Irish Pub with Irish Murals and high ceilings, a large banquet room, a covered outdoor veranda overlooking the golf course and seating outdoors on the green. It’s open to all, including pets, and makes for the prettiest, most original and “greenest” setting you will find for a fun, friendly St. Patrick’s Day.
Another big attraction besides flowing Green Beer, $3.50 16 oz. Green Aluminum Bottle Bud Lights and cold $5 Guinness Pints is a tasty Irish Buffet starting at 5pm with Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers & Mash and other Irish favorites offered for $13.99. “In the course of a day, we will go through over 100 pounds of corned beef,” says manager Dan Burton. “We will also offer a limited Pub menu for lighter appetites. As part of a Golf Club, we are used to hosting large crowds, and we have perfected our corned beef & cabbage recipe over the years.”
There is music and fun for everyone. Scott Fallon plays from 1 to 4pm, Ken Keller from 4 to 7pm, and the Slickside Band plays from 7-11pm. For family fun, there is a bounce house from 4-8pm and a bagpiper plays in the afternoon. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, and Irish party favors given away. There is a $5 cover after 5pm, including a free domestic draft or house wine.
Mulligans Irish Pub at Wentworth is open to the public 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm (10pm on Fri/Sat and until 1 or 2am on special holidays like St. Patrick’s Day). Call (727) 942-4760 x28 or visit www.wentworthgolfclub.org. The address is 2990 Wentworth Way, Tarpon Springs, the first light south of Tarpon (Keystone) Avenue off of East Lake Road. There is free parking and admittance through the Wentworth gates. The Mulligans Irish Pub at Pebble Creek Golf Club in Tampa will also hold a St. Patrick’s Day Bash.
