Tango Networks Supports a New Way to Work for Users of the Unify OpenScape Platform
Tango Networks' mobile unified communications solution is now available for the Unify OpenScape Voice platform, extending the range of productivity-enhancing UC features available to users.
Frisco, TX, March 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Unify (http://www.unify.com/us) has certified the Tango Networks (http://www.tango-networks.com) mobile unified communications solution on its OpenScape Voice platform, supporting Unify's commitment to delivering the highest quality user experience.
With the Tango Networks solution, users of Unify’s OpenScape Voice can extend its features and functionality beyond the smartphones supported by Unify’s OpenScape Mobile solution to also include feature phones.
For Tango Networks, the Unify certification adds to the vast list of PBX and UC platforms for which its mobile UC solution operates, making users more productive by freeing them from their desks, and in most cases eliminating desk phone costs.
By using the Tango Networks solution, Unify customers can now receive and make corporate calls on their mobile phones, leveraging company calling plans and enterprise voice features such as conferencing, three-digit dialing, call transfer, and a single mailbox supporting both the mobile and desk phones.
Tango Networks also offers its trademark dual mobile identity capability, so a single mobile phone can present distinct personal and business identities for users depending on their immediate need. This enterprise voice capability is accessible through iOS, Android, and BlackBerry® 10 mobile phones.
For Unify enterprise customers, Tango Networks also assures compliance with government and regulatory requirements by enabling mobile call recording and SMS capture through the mobile phone. This makes sure that all business calls are properly handled, without exception.
“The versatility and mobile capabilities that Tango Networks offers to Unify customers will enable more enterprises to truly mobilize their network,” said Derrick Richburg, Director of Solution Management with Unify. “The Tango solution perfectly aligns with Unify’s vision of the new way to work and the future of the mobile enterprise.”
“Unify’s approach supports our goal of unifying mobility across the enterprise by making enterprise services fully accessible to the end users who increasingly depend on their mobile phone,” said Andrew Silver, co-founder and chief technology officer for Tango Networks. “Our incredibly flexible solution makes it easy for employees to communicate effectively wherever they are."
Tango Networks will share more about the benefits of integrating its mobile capabilities into Unify OpenScape at Enterprise Connect in booth #1924.
