Dr. Lobati received his M.D. from the University of Cologne, Germany in 1988. He did Pre-Clinical Medical Studies at the University of Dusseldorf in West Germany and received a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Community Healthcare. Dr. Lobati is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Infectious Diseases. He is the recipient of 3 Physicians' Recognition Awards from the American Medical Association (one with commendation) and a travel grant award to participate at the North American Region of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease at its 10th Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American Medical Association, the Missouri State Medical Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Medical Society, the Ozark Medical Association, the Greene County Medical Society and is an active member of his local church in Ozark, Missouri.
