He has been honored with the Outstanding Instructor in Pathology Award from Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Cohen is the Chair of the Medical Education Committee at Doctors Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. He is the recipient of the American Medical Association’s Physical Recognition Continuing Medical Education Award. He is the Author/Co-Author of numerous publications including: D. Wolfson, D. Sachar, A. Cohen, Granulomas do not affect Postoperative Recurrence Rates in Crohn's Disease, Gastroenterology, Vol. 83, Apr. 1982; S. Geller, A.
