“Headbang for Hope” - a St. Baldrick's Concert Fundraiser for Children's Cancer Research

Island Park, NY, March 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Enjoy live music and fundraise for children's cancer research. This two part concert fundraiser is on Sat. March 14 and starts at noon at The Hub in Island Park, NY. It will feature local musicians and bands performing to fundraise with the St. Baldrick's Foundation right before St. Patrick's Day, when the first St. Baldrick's event took place. "The St. Baldrick's Foundation... coordinate(s) our signature head-shaving events and other fundraisers, giving thousands of volunteers worldwide a chance to raise money to support lifesaving childhood cancer research.”

Part one of the “Headbang for Hope” concert will feature soloists, acoustic acts and “soft rock” while part two will have hard rock and metal bands perform. The head shaving will take place in between musical acts along with drawing raffle prizes. This is event is open to all ages and is $10 in advance or $12 at the door. The event is organized by G.T. PR, PDT Entertainment and musician Andrew Kohn.
