On March 9th the American Society for the Protection of Nature INC received notification from the IRS that they met and were given the status of being exempt from Federal Income Tax.
Otisville, NY, March 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On March 9th the American Society for the Protection of Nature INC "ASPN" received notification from the IRS that they met and were given the status of being exempt from Federal Income Tax.
This status change will help enable the ASPN to solicit contributions. The ASPN is an organization that serves the entire United States of America. Receiving 501 (C) 3 status from the United States Internal Revenue Service means that contributions to the ASPN are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. The ASPN is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests. devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055. 2106 or 2522 of the Tax Code.
It is the mission of the ASPN to be an advocate in ensuring that future generations of Americans will be able to enjoy nature and the outdoors in all of its splendor. This is done through political activism, raising money for environmental organizations, annual scholarship, our camps, and conservation education.
