River Expeditions is Excited to Announce Their 33rd Annual White Water Rafting "Icebreaker Weekend" from April 11-12 2015

Oak Hill, WV, March 12, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Break out of the winter blues and into the Spring rafting season with River Expeditions’ annual Icebreaker Weekend. This yearly celebration includes whitewater rafting on either Saturday or Sunday, a BBQ cookout, 2 nights of camping and a daily light breakfast – starting at just $79 per person! This is a fantastic opportunity to save ½ off the regular weekend rafting rates – without sacrificing a moment of adventure. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, but rather it continues into the evening with the “Ice Breaker” Party, hosted at the Red Dog River Saloon. This nighttime party features live music, games, contests and complimentary beverages.

River Expeditions outfits white water rafting trips through the New River Gorge beginning in April and continuing until October. White Water Rafting is a fantastic opportunity for families, friends, and groups to get outside and experience the changing of the seasons from the water. In addition to whitewater rafting, River Expeditions also offers a variety of different “dry” activities, such as a zip line, paintball, ATV ridings, hiking, and much more. The staff is highly qualified and have completed extensive training to ensure that your rafting trip is memorable, safe, and fun for the whole group. Outings usually last for 5-7 hours, including a waterside lunch. The ability to swim is helpful, but not required. Each rafter is provided with all necessary safety equipment – a Coast Guard approved Type V Life Jacket, Paddle, and Helmet.
